Sad to say this, but that was actually our first & last committee picture. From left, Mandy the hot secretary, Oliver the skinny-looking president, Me the vice, and Alex the handsome treasurer. I already miss Mandy and Alex looo, only during meetings and some events can see their faces. Now that there's no more meetings, I wonder when will I get to see them again.. =(

ISU Career Fair 2007

Have been to a career fair this BIG?

haha.. Ivie is just adorable.

So last week was the 2007 E-Week (Engineers' week). The College of Engineering show color 9 9.. Every day got different events and activities.. Got free ice-cream la, free pancakes la, career talk la, this and that i didn't really keep track..

But the main attraction was of coz the Career Fair for engineers..

Very geng 1. More than 300 booths were occupied by big small companies interested in hiring engineering students. Many companies from other states actually send their representatives by PLANE just to attend this career fair ok. Give face can.

The amount of traffic lights near times square that intimidated her. haha & for the tallest twin tower in the world ( Petronas Twin Tower, The ) which did not seem attractive to her at all, when Bimbi was around.

Sentosa island was great. If i were to go Singapore again in future, if can with taptap, i wanna stay and just hang out ard the island lor.. Come ON, they have like very convenient and rapid shuttle buses ok! Bimbi dont need to walk so much d.. I would say Sentosa Island is a paradise le.. Clean, hotels, Rides, lovely beach, luge, good facilities etc.. oh yeah the beach was lovely.. Despite that we wore jeans and shoes to the beach, it's still good.. or maybe it was the present of taptap..

aaaaaaaa.. these r my favourites.. all the modelling pictures we took with our guess shirt on were duper awesome ! We took almost 100 shots at the same spot, same shirt, same hair.. haha, even my canon sd750 couldn't take it I gotta charge the bat at halftime.. piggy's fav pic at the bottom!! she's so lovely..

Sunset was breathtaking. Barely can i smile, sunset never appeal to me as a happy atmosphere. Albeit i just love it. The rhythm of waves hitting the shores, birds and the smell of salt, mesmerizes bimbi. Felt much sadder at sentosa though.. Knowing that there's nothing we can do to stop the sun, but to push it aside till the edge of our eyes, try to put a smile. capture it. Before the sun's gone. Before it's too late.

Seu Foong's birthday and his new fan!

so i've been back in KL for almost 5 days. But hor, 5 days felt like weeks to me d.. never fail to accompany ma family during day time.. involved in all kinds of stuff from house work, bath sandy, dishes, laundry, to even gardening !! haha, i seem to be a very welcoming ah sei wherever i go lor..

anyways, bimbi hasn't been sleeping good for the past few days.. will automatic wake up at 4am 1!! 1st 2 days i slept quite early la at abt 11pm.. so wake up at 4am still ok.. wednesday i slept at 1.30am, woke up at 4am again !! so i watched some astro, ate kitkats i brougth back from Japan, hopefully i'll fall asleep on the sofa. i did. but still! sighed, still got jet lag gua..but, what's that 4am thingy?? ( lame bimbi: coz u r ah sei mah hehe ) .. ..nvm jet lag ffk me last night.
COZ I SLEPT AT 3.45 AM HAHAHA

Had dinner at Tam Sifu restaurant (selayang). One of my dad's favourite restaurant of all time where we choose fresh(as in living fresh!) seafood from next door, pay, and bring it over to Tam sifu restaurant to have them saw3 them.

spent like 4 hours on a pretty knowledgeable training dis morning. It was a 2 hours each training on a program called Microsoft Project, fundamentals and proficient level. Took it together with all my team members ( 11 Uncles, 3 aunties, 2 under age intern). Sometimes it feels really great when you're treated just the same. On top of that, I never have to worry so much about those mafan stuff..

AS AN INTERN I DON'T WORRY(CARE) ABOUT:

1. Office conflicts
   
2. Pressure from boss
   
3. Being fired
   
4. Not getting promoted
   
5. Not being attractive enough to charm my colleagues
   
6. Forgetting where to get free stationaries because intern can ask but full-timer cannot as they have to answer interns
   
7. Attending meetings not related to my projects
   
8. FFK meetings not related to my projects
   
9. Sending a parcel to the wrong company. Twice.
   
10. My hair
    

sigh.. only 7 working days left.. 10 weeks straight of waking up Sho Dham early every morning and spent most of the time of my day around the company.. the thing is,next week, i'll be gone, and i might not be back. Ever. Definitely, very sad. I've never gained so much work related knowledge. I never knew the ingenuity of statistics. I've never introduce myself by shaking hands before a presentation. Never scheduled a meeting and hosted a conference call before. I've never created and conducted a project from scratch. I've never earn so much $$ in my life. Since graduating from secondary school, waking up at 7.30am for 10 weeks straight is so far my record. I...

I'm so gonna give my boss a hug tomorrow morning. . .
